A Place in the Sun
George Eastman is a guy from the countryside, raised by Puritans. A rich uncle offers to get him a job at his swimsuit factory. The only condition is no romance with female staff. However, the forbidden fruit is sweet. Eastman begins an affair with his assembly line partner, Alice. Out of fear of management, they hide their relationship. The uncle is pleased with the dutiful relative and promotes him in his career. An irresistible girl from high society, Angela Vickers, also pays attention to him. Young people are crazy about each other, it’s time for a wedding. Meanwhile, Alice finds out about her pregnancy and demands George to formalize the marriage. She threatens to make their relationship public, which will inevitably put an end to his career with the Eastmans.
