Description

Ben Carson has seen better times. It's been almost a year since the unstable detective was suspended from the New York City Police Department for the murder of another intelligence officer, an accident that not only cost him his job, but also gave him a craving for alcohol and aggressiveness that... for which his wife and children distanced themselves from him, and he himself found refuge on the sofa in his sister’s apartment in Queens. Having lost hope of returning to normal life and reuniting with his family, Carson takes a job as a night watchman at the burnt-out ruins of the Mayflower department store. What was once a symbol of prosperity and luxury is now slowly crumbling into darkness, like a decaying ghost ship ravaged by a giant fire that has consumed many innocent lives. As Carson patrols his property, the charred ruins of a department store, he begins to notice something sinister in the decorative mirrors that adorn the walls of the Mayflower. Carson's terrible, stunning images are reflected in the huge flickering glass...
