Stryker's work was somehow connected to Logan's mysterious past, which he does not remember. As Wolverine begins to try to unravel his past, Stryker activates his anti-mutant program, i.e. organizes an assault on Professor Xavier's house. Having escaped from a plastic prison, Magneto invites the X-Men to unite and fight together against their common, terrifying enemy Stryker. This time, the X-Men face the biggest challenge they've ever faced: the fate of not only all mutants, but all of humanity, is now in their hands.
