Description

12-year-old Anna is a reserved and unsociable girl. She has no friends, and her only outlet is drawing. Due to poor health, Anna is sent to a small town in Hokkaido for the summer. There she meets Marnie, a girl who lives in a large, rich house on the shallows. Gradually they become good friends.
