In the distant future, the polar snows melted, covering the entire Earth with water. The authors immerse us in the fantastic world of a few people living on the water, where the most valuable things are fresh water, land, food, cigarettes, etc. “Smokers” kill, rob, enslave - they use internal combustion engines. Everyone else is trying to survive as best they can, and Kevin Costner is sailing on his own on his fantastic boat, but they all have one thing in common - they are all looking for the island.
