Description

As a child, Carl Fredriksen dreamed of becoming a traveler - exploring distant lands, and most of all he wanted to end up at Paradise Falls and, maybe, if he was lucky, even settle there. His dreams were completely shared by Ellie, whom Karl eventually married. However, life caught them in its whirlpool, and Karl remembers his childhood dream only in old age, when his Ellie dies. In memory of his other half, he ties the house with balloons and takes off with him - Karl heads to South America, to Paradise Falls. Only in the air does it become clear that a boy scout is lurking on the porch of his house.
