Description

In the spring of 1922, in an era of decaying morality, brilliant jazz and the “kings of bootleg alcohol,” Nick Carraway comes from the Midwest to New York. Pursuing his own American dream, he settles next door to the mysterious, party-loving millionaire Jay Gatsby, while his cousin Daisy and her rake and aristocrat husband, Tom Buchanan, live across the bay. So Nick finds himself drawn into the fascinating world of the rich - their illusions, loves and deceptions. He witnesses what is happening in this world and writes a story of impossible love, eternal dreams and human tragedy that are a reflection of modern times and mores.
