Brad Pitt masterfully wields both the sword and his own body as the invulnerable Greek warrior Achilles in this large-scale adaptation of the famous Iliad. Orlando Bloom and Diane Kruger play the legendary lovers, because of whom the whole world was overwhelmed by war, Eric Bana plays the brave prince who dared to fight Achilles himself, and Peter O'Toole shines as the last Trojan king Priam. Director Wolfgang Peterson managed to accurately recreate the ancient era: grandiose warships, fierce battles, massive fortress walls and the great Trojan Horse.
