Description
The Thin Red Line
The film tells the story of several months in the life of an army unit, including the participation of this unit in one of the decisive and difficult operations of the 20th century - the Battle of Guadalcanal. American infantrymen are sent to help naval units exhausted by the battle with the Japanese. The film centers on the fate of the rifle battalion: an unexpectedly calm landing, bloody battles and the tragic retreat of those who managed to survive.
