Tobol (The Conquest of Siberia)
A young officer of the new guard of Peter I, Ivan Demarin, on the instructions of the tsar, goes into the depths of Siberia - to the border city of Tobolsk. Here Ivan meets his first love and, together with his regiment, becomes embroiled in a conspiracy of local princes hunting for the gold of Yarkand.
