Description

Louise works as a waitress in a fast food restaurant. Her boyfriend Jimmy is a musician who tours roadside eateries and often forgets about his beloved. Thelma, having married Darryl, discovers that a woman's place is in the kitchen, and a man's place is in a chair in front of the TV. One day, Thelma and Louise decide to break out of their usual life and go on a trip. However, a series of troubles await them; along the way they commit a number of crimes, including murder in a roadside bar. They are wanted all over America and have no choice but to go on the run. They decide to get to Mexico no matter what.
