Divergent (2014)
In a dystopian future Chicago, society is divided into five factions: Erudite, Amity, Candor, Abnegation, and Dauntless. Every citizen over the age of 16 must take a test to determine which faction they belong to. Young Beatrice becomes a threat to the entire established system when the tests reveal that she is a Divergent - a person who cannot be clearly assigned to one of the factions. Able to think independently and with little respect for the government, Divergents discredit the principles on which society is built by their very existence. And now Beatrice is one of these people, living outside the law and fighting a system that is determined to get rid of them at any cost.
