Description
The Battle for Moscow
On June 22, 1941, at 3:30 a.m., Nazi Germany treacherously attacked the Soviet Union. The beginning of the Great Patriotic War was harsh. The Red Army retreated deeper into the country with fierce fighting. However, in the most difficult times, the Soviet people did not abandon faith in victory. Already in the forty-first year, the plan for a lightning war, developed by the German command, was crossed out by the heroic resistance of the Soviet people.
