Los Angeles Police Sergeant Joe Bomowski's life is turned upside down after his sweet mother, Tutti, decides to visit her beloved son. To the great delight of Joe's girlfriend and immediate superior, Lieutenant Gwen Harper, Tutti immediately tidies up his bachelor pad and starts to get his "household" in order.
As you can imagine, the brave sergeant is not thrilled with all these innovations. And then, in addition to all the problems, the restless Tutti witnesses a murder and demands... that her son allow her to participate in the investigation!
As a result, Joe gets a new partner - his own mom, who decides to give the criminals a good thrashing!
