The near future. 17 years ago, a man-made disaster occurred on the planet. Where forests once grew and gardens bloomed, there is now snow and ice, and life has survived only on a giant train, rushing non-stop along the trans-Eurasian highway. The ruling elite lives in the first carriages of the train, and ordinary people live in the last. Life at the tail of the train resembles a concentration camp - disease, poverty, and the lawlessness of the guards. It is here that a man rises from among the humiliated and insulted, thirsting to restore justice.
