Small Soldiers

The Globotek Corporation used military technology in the production of toys, and one of the developers inserted state-of-the-art self-learning microprocessors into a new series of soldiers. As a result, the store received evil paratroopers programmed to fight good fantasy creatures called Gargonites. The first to encounter them was the son of the owner of a small toy store, who took the side of the Gargonites. The paratroopers, who at first did not touch "civilians", soon switched to completely non-toy combat actions against people. The boy, the girl next door, and then their parents had to join the fight. They were joined by the hapless developers, who realized too late what harm they had done. Even the peaceful Gargonites, programmed to hide, could not stand it and took up arms.
