1709 Europe is torn apart by internecine wars. France is still ruled by the aging Louis XIV, and the exploits of the musketeers are not yet forgotten. In Versailles, two French nobles, having quarreled over a card game, violate the existing ban on dueling and find themselves between prison and the executioner's block. By the mercy of the king, the execution was replaced by a reference “for the benefit of the state.” One of them must go to serve the court of the Russian Tsar Peter the Great, the other - to the court of the Swedish King Charles XII to spy for France. Russia and Sweden are at war, and the heroes must arrive at their destinations just before the Battle of Poltava. However, it turns out that the exile is just a pretext and in fact they are destined for a place in the front ranks of the armies fighting against each other. To save her beloved, the girlfriend of one of the heroes decides to take a desperate step... In Russia, meanwhile, rumors are spreading about a mystical black horseman, allegedly involved in the disappearance of people... The investigation confirms that the mysterious appearances of the mystical horseman are true. All the heroes will meet in the most unexpected circumstances, having experienced many dangerous adventures. But how will this meeting end? After all, they still consider the matter of honor unfinished...
