Lionel Essrog, a lonely private investigator with Tourette's syndrome, decides to investigate the murder of his mentor and only friend, Frank Minna. With just a few clues and the power of a purpose-driven mind to unravel the tangled web of secrets that hold the balance of power in New York itself.
