Description

1932. After many years away, twins Smoke and Stack return to their hometown in the Mississippi Delta. They fought in the trenches of World War I and then became gangsters in Chicago. The brothers buy a plot of land with outbuildings from a white racist to open a music bar for plantation workers. The star of the show at the opening is the son of a preacher, to whom the twins once gave a guitar, and he plays the blues so well that he attracts the attention of a nearby Irish vampire.
