Shakespeare in Love

1594. Young playwright William Shakespeare is experiencing a creative crisis: his muse has abandoned him, he's broke, and the theater owner demands a new play from him in the shortest possible time. And just when it seems the writer has no hope left of finding new inspiration, Love itself bursts into his life in the person of the charming aristocrat Viola. Disguised as a young actor, the girl joins the theater troupe to play the main male role in the play "Romeo and Juliet." Viola is not only a devoted admirer of Maestro Shakespeare but also a wonderful actress. There's only one catch: Viola is betrothed to an important nobleman who plans to take his future wife to a distant English colony...
