A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
1988 Journalist Lloyd Vogel, known for his exposé articles, is assigned to interview the host of a popular children's show, Fred Rogers. Vogel himself has been offended by his father since childhood, looks at the world cynically, and therefore considers the overly polite idol of children an unsuitable candidate for research. But after meeting him personally, Mister Rogers’ unstoppable desire to see only the good in people and treat everyone with respect begins to change the journalist himself.
