Description

On the eve of the New Year's holiday, the luxury cruise ship Poseidon is in disaster in the Atlantic Ocean, which was capsized by a giant tidal wave. While hundreds of surviving passengers, following the captain's instructions, remain in the main ballroom and wait for help from the shore, professional gambler Dylan Jones is looking for his way to salvation. Despite his wishes, Dylan is accompanied by nine-year-old Conor and his mother Maggie, Robert Ramsey, who is trying to find his daughter Jennifer, and her fiancé Christian. They are joined by a shy stowaway, an elderly gay man contemplating suicide, and a young waiter. They all make incredible efforts to get out of the sinking ship to the surface...
