Sentenced to 5,000 hours of community service, the unlucky swindler Durell learns that, on top of everything else, he may lose his own son, whom his ex-girlfriend decided to take to another state, if he does not pay off his old debt - 17 thousand dollars. Due to the hopelessness of the situation, his life turns into a complete nightmare. And together with his bosom friend Lee John, they rush to the local church. But not at all in order to atone for one’s sins. Taking as a basis the truth that God helps those who help themselves, they expect to take the parish fund. But imagine their surprise when they discover that the cash register is already empty. Durell is forced to take the parishioners hostage to find out which of the believers has appropriated his loot!!! Who will now guide whom on the right path?
