Marigold Hotel: The Best of Exotic The film tells the story of a group of British pensioners who decide to “retire” to a less expensive and much more exotic India. Lured by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and looking forward to a life of pleasure and idleness, they arrive only to discover that the hotel is, in fact, a pale shadow of its former glory.
