Unfortunately you are never ready. It invades life unceremoniously and brazenly, throwing open the door with a roar. Then it takes your fragile happiness with its vile hands and smashes it to pieces. Trouble strikes a wealthy, respectable American family. Buck, the eldest of two sons of a successful lawyer, dies as a result of an absurd accident.
