Description

On November 4, 1979, the revolution in Iran reaches its climax, Islamists storm the US Embassy in Tehran and take 52 Americans hostage. But in the chaos, the six manage to escape and take refuge in the house of the Canadian ambassador. Realizing that it is only a matter of time before they are discovered and, most likely, killed, Tony Mendez, a CIA specialist in secretly smuggling people out of the country, proposes a risky plan for a safe evacuation. The plan is so incredible that it only happens in movies.
