Description

How about a holiday at government expense in a small mental hospital? This is exactly what the restless and independent McMurphy, who has fire in his veins and a razor-sharp tongue, did: he feigned madness and lived “with the psychos.” Immediately, his contagious sense of independence begins to poison the drab routine of hospital everyday life. If the World Baseball Championship was on TV, he wouldn't have sedated patients hanging around. This is war! On one side is McMurphy. On the other is Nurse Ratched, she has a calm voice, she is one of the most cold-blooded and merciless villains in the history of cinema. The fate of every patient in the ward is at stake.
