Description

An 86-year-old man named Irving Zisman travels across America with an unusual companion - his eight-year-old “grandson” Billy. Along the way, the groovy grandfather introduces the impressionable Billy to people, places and situations that hardly fit into the framework of the usual ideas about upbringing. The couple will encounter strippers, angry participants in a pompous children's beauty pageant and their equally angry mothers, mourning funeral service-goers, biker bar patrons and other unsuspecting US citizens.
