Beaches

A story about a touching friendship between two girls from different social classes who met by chance on a beach in California. One is not very wealthy, vulgar CC Bloom, who dreams of a career in the show - a star, and the second is a prosperous rich aristocrat Hilary Whitney Essex. But fate turns out to be cruel to both of them: the rich and prosperous Hilary dies of an incurable disease, leaving behind a little daughter, and her unlucky but faithful friend takes on all the worries about the child.
