My Girl
11-year-old Veida Saltenfass lives in a large house with her father and mentally ill grandmother. Her father is a funeral director, and his funeral home is located right in the Saltenfass house. The gloomy, funereal atmosphere that reigns in the house has a depressing effect on the girl.
Mr. Sultenfass is completely immersed in his work, having no other interests in life after the death of his wife. But everything changes when the funeral home hires a new employee. Cheerful Shelley forces Mr. Sultenfass to crawl out of his shell of emotional detachment - Veida has never seen her father so happy.
