Mommie Dearest

Forties movie star Joan Crawford is at the height of her fame. Enjoying wealth and popularity, a woman decides that she simply needs to take in an adopted child. The lover, who is a successful lawyer, prepares all the documents, and soon Joan becomes the official guardian of a sweet girl named Christina. It would seem that for the baby this outcome of events is a real dream come true, because now her mother is a popular and rich film star. But in reality everything turns out to be somewhat different. The Hollywood beauty is very nervous, emotionally unstable, and, in addition, simply obsessed with cleanliness. Joana's alcoholism and constant change of lovers also add to the difficulties.
