French policeman Alain Moreau learns that one of the bandits killed in a shootout named Mikhail is very similar to him. And this is putting it mildly: in fact, they just have the same face. Alena's mother unexpectedly admits that Mikhail is his twin brother, left in the maternity hospital at the insistence of the family. The policeman decides to find out as much as possible about his dead brother. He goes to New York. And the closer he is to the goal, the less chance he has of surviving.
