Description

The fourth film of the cult acid sci-fi about a computer system that skillfully simulates human life, which this time was filmed only by one of the Wachowski sisters, Lana. The project also lost its permanent producer, Joel Silver, but acquired the author of the completely undistinguished Cloud Atlas, David Stephen Mitchell. The plot of the film, in principle, has not changed in 18 years and is still built around the confrontation between the heroes and the computer system. Keanu Reeves, of course, appears in his usual role of the invincible and merciless Neo, but the villain in the new series of the franchise is played - suddenly - by Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother).
