Five teenage friends living on the same street dream of a nightmare man with a disfigured face, a frightening voice and a glove with sharp blades instead of fingers. One by one, he haunts them in his dreams, and only by waking up can he get rid of the obsessive nightmare. But when one of them dies, the friends realize that everything that happens to them in their dreams becomes reality, and the only way to survive is to never sleep.
