Captain Volkonogov Escaped
Leningrad, 1938. Security officer Captain Fyodor Volkonogov, who was previously in good standing with his superiors, is forced to go on the run and hide from his former colleagues. At night, a colleague who was shot the day before appears to him and tells him that eternal torment is already waiting for him in hell, but this can be avoided if he repents before his death, and at least one person forgives him. Captain Volkonogov is visiting the relatives of those repressed in search of forgiveness.
