Description

This film, an adaptation of Mary Shelley's famous gothic novel about the monster created by the brilliant Doctor Frankenstein, is recognized by critics as the scariest of all film versions of the book. The film's producer Francis Coppola and director Kenneth Branagh, recognized masters of the genre, created a truly hypnotic spectacle about the adventures of a terrible monster, played by Robert De Niro, who once again demonstrated his unique gift of captivating viewers and making their hearts tremble with fear.
