Elavad Pildid (Living Images)

An epic film about the thorny path of Estonia in the 20th century, using one Tallinn house as an example. The main character, Helmi, is born in this house in 1908, where she rejoices and suffers, lusts and is disappointed. On the ground floor of the house lives a projectionist, Julius, who is not indifferent to Helmi. The house has a small cinema, and the plot revolves around the memories of the elderly projectionist. He starts playing films illustrating the years 1914, 1917, 1918, 1920…
