Desperately Seeking Susan
Roberta Glass, the wife of a successful businessman, is tired of her carefree, affluent life. One day, while browsing the newspaper's classifieds, she stumbles upon a short message—"Desperately Seeking Susan." Roberta begins following the ads for Susan that appear in the paper from time to time, feeling growing curiosity and a desire to see the girl someone is so "desperate" to meet. The next ad suggests a meeting and specifies a location. Roberta heads to the rendezvous point, but her curiosity remains unsatisfied. She begins to follow Susan, shadowing her every move. Roberta even manages to buy the girl's jacket, in which she finds a forgotten key. Getting a taste for adventure, Roberta transforms herself into Susan. She has no idea that this fun intrigue is drawing her into a dangerous game. The real Susan is being hunted by a killer—the girl made off with a pair of priceless earrings. And, like it or not, she, Roberta, will have to face the criminal....
