Description

Somalia, 1993. The country is dying of hunger, the number of victims has exceeded three hundred thousand people. UN peacekeeping forces are trying to restore order and organize food supplies. To help them, Washington sent half a thousand people from the elite units of the American army, the famous Delta squads and Army Rangers. In the city of Mogadishu, the field commander Aidid rules and creates chaos, killing civilians and taking away humanitarian aid. At a certain point, the eagles from Washington decide to carry out an operation to capture Aideed at his residence. A young officer who had just been promoted to platoon commander; a seasoned sergeant leading a column of vehicles; a barracks clerk who never smelled gunpowder; crews of downed helicopters forced to wait for reinforcements and evacuation; a couple of soldiers who were forgotten to take with them when changing positions; a general sitting at headquarters and watching from a satellite as his soldiers die...
