Description

1998, New York City. Hank, a promising baseball player who never made it to the pros due to an injury, leads an ordinary life: he works at a bar, dates the beautiful Yvonne, roots for his favorite team, and calls his mother, also a big baseball fan, every day. When his punk neighbor leaves for a couple of days and asks him to look after his biting cat, Hank's life changes dramatically. He's severely beaten by ruthless Russian gangsters, and finds himself caught in the middle of a criminal plot involving local gangs.
