Description

The musical "Cats" by the famous composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is based on the collection of poems by one of the greatest poets of the 20th century, Thomas Stearns Eliot, "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats." Gathering for the annual cat ball, cats and cats talk about themselves and their lives. They address the viewer with words, the meaning of which is that cats are very similar to people. They do not tolerate familiarity and demand respectful treatment. In the moonlight, the cat team indulges in catchy dances, shows itself and demonstrates vocal and dance numbers, and at the same time learns from the elder which of them is destined to go to cat heaven and be reborn to a new life.
