Description

Cape Fear (1962)
Attorney Sam Bowden is a small-town lawyer. Over eight years ago, Sam testified in the rape case of Max Cady. Bowden's worst nightmare comes true when a convicted Cady is released from prison with only one maniacal desire - to take revenge on the lawyer and his family, making their lives hell. Despite the help of the local police chief and a private investigator, the lawyer is legally powerless against the psychopath. Realizing that he cannot protect his wife Peggy and daughter Nancy, Sam sets a trap for Cady.

Cape Fear (1991)
Hardened criminal Max Cady is released from prison after serving a long sentence for rape. His heart is filled with anger and hatred. Then, fourteen years ago, his lawyer at the trial was Sam Bowden. He had important information in his hands that could possibly exonerate Max. But Sam hid it, and his client received a harsh sentence. Max has not forgotten anything, all these years he has been hatching a plan for revenge. And now he intends to find Bowden and teach him, his wife and 15-year-old daughter a good lesson.
