Mitchie, Shane, Jason, Nate and their friends return to the music camp "Camp Rock" for another fun summer vacation. However, they soon learn that on the other side of the lake, a new, state-of-the-art camp for young musicians "Camp Star" has opened its doors, luring away many of the counselors, teachers and kids from their home camp. The future of the summer camp "Camp Rock" is in jeopardy. To top it all off, Luke Williams, the coolest performer from "Camp Star", proposes a competition between the camps to determine the most talented musician.
