Death Wish 2 (1982)
Architect Paul Kersey moves from New York to Los Angeles. And with him, it seems, all conceivable and inconceivable misfortunes move too. Kersey's wife recently died. And now a gang of thugs rapes and kills his housekeeper, and his daughter commits suicide. It's time for Paul to take up arms again and go out on a night hunt...

Death Wish 3 (1985)
A youth gang trashes an apartment and beats an old man to death for daring to resist them. His arriving friend, Paul Kersey, manages to catch his dying breath. The police arrest him on charges of murder. In his cell, Paul conflicts with a local crime boss, who from that moment becomes his mortal enemy. The police recognize the newcomer as the famous New York "night vigilante," and the inspector, releasing him, asks for help in restoring order to the neighborhood. Paul moves into his deceased friend's apartment and begins a war with the gang.

Death Wish 4: The Crackdown (1987)
The daughter of architect Paul Kersey's friend dies from a strong drug overdose. Trying to track down the main drug suppliers, he kills a small-time cocaine dealer. At home, he finds a note that reads, "I know you did it," and an invitation to meet. At the specified address, the hero meets an older man whose daughter also died from drugs and who also dreams of avenging the mafia. He provides Paul with information and weapons. After destroying two drug dealing gangs, Paul suddenly learns that his "benefactor" – the grief-stricken widower and father – is actually a major drug lord who used Kersey to eliminate his competitors...
