A cheerful young girl nicknamed Breezy leads a free hippie lifestyle. Every evening she does not know where she will spend the night, and in the morning she hits the road again. True, most of her voyages take place within California, where she came from the northern United States immediately after graduating from school. Edith Alice Breezerman (that's her real name) doesn't bother thinking about how the future will turn out, and her several attempts to work and make a living have failed miserably. Nevertheless, she is cheerful, kind, forgives easily, easily gets along with people, easily breaks up... But one day she “catch” the car of Frank, an already elderly wealthy single man who lives enjoying his freedom. Frank gives the girl a lift and forgets about her, but circumstances develop in such a way that they have to meet again. Naive and pure Breezy is drawn to a confident, mature man. Aging Frank suddenly discovers within himself feelings that he has not experienced for a long time. Love breaks out between them, they are happy, but at the same time, problems inevitably arise due to the age difference. Both lovers will have to understand themselves and make a choice.
