Description

The mafia that controls the Gotham metropolis is redistributing power. Competitors are trying to frame and kill Jack Napier (Nicholson), one of the group's leaders. However, Jack survives his fall into acid, loses his skin and goes crazy, turning into the psychopathic Joker. Meanwhile, millionaire Bruce Wayne (Keaton), secretly protecting the city from criminals in the guise of Batman, begins an affair with photographer Vicki Vale (Basinger), who soon falls into the sight of the Joker.
