Annihilation
A small meteorite crashes into Earth, causing major changes. It strikes a solitary lighthouse, mysteriously transforming the surrounding area. Biologist Lena has been grieving the loss of her military husband for a year. Kane went on another secret mission but never returned — alive or dead, she doesn't know, until one day her disoriented and slightly pale husband suddenly appears at the threshold of their bedroom. The joy is short-lived — the man begins to suffer from seizures and multiple hemorrhages, and on the way to the hospital, the ambulance is stopped by the military. Lena wakes up at a secret base near the very mysterious zone that numerous expeditions had already entered, but it turns out only one person returned — her Kane.
