Description

Analyze This (1999)
Paul Vitti is a powerful New York mobster on the verge of a nervous breakdown. All the gangsters are in shock: how to help your crazy boss? Ben Sobol is an ordinary psychoanalyst. He only has a few days to help his godfather deal with his depression.

Analyze That (2002)
Mafia gang leader Paul Wiley sits locked up in Sing Sing and hums croaking tunes from West Side Story, convincing the feds with his behavior that he belongs in an insane asylum rather than in prison. Perhaps, they decide, it is best to release Nimi into the care of his therapist, Ben Sobel. The guys return and the fun begins as Robert De Niro (Vitti) and Billy Christie (Sobel) once again don their Analyze This looks. This time, Vitti is ready to find a lucrative job and start leading an honest lifestyle. Well, that's what he says. But can the right Sobel trust Vitti, especially with guys like Louis Wrench in his sights? As the wise men who know this and that say: forget about it!
