One night in 1962... California teenagers Steve Bolander and Curt Henderson had just graduated from high school and were about to leave for the east coast to go to college. Steve is in love with Kurt's sister Laurie, and the young people find it difficult to part with each other. Kurt has not yet found his love, but he saw a gorgeous blonde on the street, and now he is trying to find her. Their friend, the invincible racing driver John Milner, finds himself alone that night with an underage girl, Carol, who stubbornly refuses to leave her new acquaintance. A lot of funny and sad things happened to the guys.
