Rebecca (1940)
Maximillian De Winter is a wealthy man who lost his wife Rebecca about a year ago. He arrives in Monte Carlo, where he meets Mrs. Van Hopper and her young companion. Maximillian gradually becomes so attracted to the young lady that he eventually marries her, and soon the couple returns to Manderley, the De Winter family's estate in Cornwall. There, the girl begins to be haunted and suppressed by Rebecca's presence, which she sees in absolutely everything.
Lifeboat (1944)
World War II. A German submarine torpedoes a ship. As a result, both vessels sink. The surviving passengers of the ship find themselves in a small lifeboat. The captain of the German submarine is the last to swim to the overcrowded boat. He is taken on board in the hope that, as an experienced sailor, he will be able to bring the boat to a safe harbor.
Spellbound (1945)
A new director, the famous scientist Edwards, arrives at the Institute of Psychiatry. An employee of the institute, Constance Petersen, shows more than just a professional interest in him, and they begin a passionate love affair. But the young professor begins to behave very strangely, and soon Constance discovers that her lover is not who he claims to be.
Notorious (1946)
1946. An American court sentences Johann Hubermann to twenty years in prison as a German spy for treason. His daughter Alicia meets FBI agent Devlin at a party, who is assigned by his superiors to uncover a Nazi conspiracy in Rio de Janeiro. Devlin decides to use the girl's help to carry out his task, and she accepts his offer. This is how their stormy "spy" romance begins. They come into contact with Nazi agent Alexander, whom Alicia is supposed to marry in order to learn about the secret plans of the German organization of which Alexander is a member.
